Reed Education is currently working with a secondary school in Heybridge to recruit a Cover Supervisor for their school based in Heybridge. The school is a pupil referral school with a strong reputation in the local area, the behaviour in school is challenginghowever the school have a strong behaviour management system in place.

The role of a cover supervisor is a varied one and no two days are the same but in short, your main duties and responsibilities will be:

- Corridor monitoring
- Assisting the pupils whenever possible with any questions they may have
- Managing the school behaviour in line with school policy
- Ensuring the children are made to feel safe and supported in line with the school’s ethos
- Ensuing the classroom is kept neat and tidy and is left as it was found
- Assisting in a variety of departments and working with teaching assistants.
- Monitoring safeguarding at all times and reporting any concerns.
- Ensuing heath and safety is maintained and followed.
