This role sits within Student Administration, which is part of the Academic Division and incorporates the Student Registry (where this role is based), the International Student Office, the Exam and Mitigating Circumstances Team and the Office of Student Conduct, Complaints and Appeals. The post-holder will work closely with colleagues across all Teams but in particular with the Student Registry.

The Student Registry Team works in conjunction with teams across the Collegiate University to maintain the data quality of the student records and course information held on CamSIS (Cambridge Student Information System), which is the foundation of information for students. This data must comply with the requirements of the annual statutory returns and meet the reporting requirements of both internal and external customers. The Student Record must correctly reflect the achievements of our students in official documentation, and the Student Registry is responsible for authenticating this information for specific purposes, e.g., exams, certificates, transcripts.
- Maintain student records accurately to meet statutory requirements, supporting with reporting tasks or data quality checks
- Ensure records are updated in a timely way for students requiring a Change In Student Status
- Process Postgraduate thesis submissions
- Support with the Registration exercise for incoming and returning students
- Advise students, and update their record, of Degree Committee Decisions
- Administer, oversee, and monitor the completion of Disclosure and Barring Service checks for students

- are returning to the work place having taken a career break
- ideally educated to A level standard or equivalent (although this is not essential) and have at least GCSE level (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics
