We are looking to recruit motivated, caring, compassionate individual for the role of Human Resources Assistant.

The apprenticeship programme offers a full time 18 months fixed term contract. Pending successful completion of the apprenticeship you will be promoted into a substantive band 3 role.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over on date of starting and have lived in the UK for 3 years prior to enrolment.

You must have a genuine interest in Human Resources and have experience working in an office
environment.

You MUST NOT hold a degree, level four qualification or above in a Human Resources related

You will be required to undertake the HR support Apprenticeship at level 3. This will be delivered
by a local provider.

You will act as a member of the divisions operational HR team and support the provision of an integrated resourcing function, which includes Medical HR activity and includes recruitment activity and support across a range of transactional services.

We employ more than 6,500 staff who deliver compassionate care from our two main hospitals, Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary as well as in community sites, health centres and in patients’ homes. We also are incredibly proud to have almost 150 volunteers here at CHFT.

We provide a range of services including urgent and emergency care; medical; surgical; maternity; gynaecology; critical care; children’s and young people’s services; end of life care and outpatient and diagnostic imaging services.

We provide community health services, including sexual health services in Calderdale from Calderdale Royal and local health centres. These include Todmorden Health Centre and Broad Street Plaza.

We continue to modernise and invest in our health services to build on our strong reputation. Foundation trusts are public leaders in improving quality in health services. They are part of the NHS - yet decisions about what they do and how they do it are driven by independent boards. Boards listen to their Council of Governors and respond to the needs of their members - patients, staff and the local community.

Acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries you will undertake duties such as:
Performing compliance checks to ensure colleagues are professionally registered, maintain registration to the DBS update service where required and will monitor Right to work compliance.
