**Reconciliation Coordinator - Income and Agency team**

**3 days from the office per week (Cheltenham, London, Liverpool, Cardiff, Darlington or Harrogate)**

**About the role**:
As a Reconciliation Coordinator you will be working within our Income and Agency team working to reconcile the income received by the business to our back-office system, Intelliflo (IO) and to support the Novation process following acquisitions to ensure income is novated efficiently and all plans are matched to the back-office system.

You will also get to support with income and agency related project work together with other operational projects due to our business growth.

**About you**:
You will have experience working in a similar role, having either worked within a Finance department or within a Financial Planning firm.

You will be extremely organised and able to manage your time effectively, ensuring that all tasks are completed within agreed timescales. You will be good with numbers and with an analytical approach, being able to extract and reconcile data is essential for the role.

You are a fast learner, able to pick things up quickly and seek out learning opportunities. You are naturally inquisitive and have excellent communication skills. You will have sharp attention to detail and work best when faced with a busy workload.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Ensure that all income is accurately accounted for within IO
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment with team and business objectives.
- Maintaining oversight of our debtor’s process
- Build and maintain relationships with multiple investment and insurance providers to support novation of agencies.
- Successful matching of income on provider statements and invoices with records in IO
- Investigate and correct any items that are unable to be matched automatically.
- Lead on the production of monthly MI and reports to finance and financial planning team as part of group reconciliation and accounting process
- Processing and recording of Client Refunds
- Run introducer reports to calculate monthly payments
- Liaison with providers and Insurance companies to ensure accurate remuneration data
- Assist with creation of income profiles within IO.
- Support with ongoing operational projects with the business.

**Essential skills and experience**
- Experience of working within Financial Services
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Experience of working within a Finance team or with invoices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to maintain excellent working relationships with a professional team and manage multiple stakeholders
- 5 GCSEs graded A-B (6), or equivalent, including Maths and English

**Desirable skills and experience**
- Educated to degree level would be desirable
- Experience of Intelliflo (IO)
- Accountancy experience

**Salary and benefits**

up to £35,000 depending on experience
