**Recreation Assistant**

Salary between £20259 and £21900 per annum.

Initially 12 month Temporary Contract - Full Time (37 hours week)

Hours on a shift rota to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays

**Based at Alive St James, King s Lynn**

We need you to join our Alive St James team initially to cover an internal secondment. You will lifeguard the pool and assist with the general day to day operation including reception duties and cleaning tasks ensuring the Centre users have a safe and enjoyable visit. You will also teach swimming to all abilities from non-swimmer to advanced. (Full training for this will be provided).

Ideally you will have a National Pool Lifeguard and Swimming Teacher Qualifications, or be able to achieve these. You will be asked to complete a swim test prior to interview. You will be a good communicator with the ability to converse at ease with members of the public in accurate spoken English to ensure customers receive the highest level of service.
