We are a sportswear manufacturer based in Southend On Sea, specialising in short - medium production runs.

We are looking for an experienced sewing machinist to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a number of staff holidays over the next 2 months. This may lead on to a more permanents role.

**What you’ll be doing.**

Manufacturing of garments, Operating sewing machines and related devices in the production and manufacture using Coverstitch, Overlock, Straight Stitch & Flatlock machines.
- Minimum 2 years experience using industrial Overlock, Straight stitch and Coverstitch machines
- Ideally used to sewing stretch fabrics
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
- Must be reliable

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**Salary**: £9.50-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Southend-on-Sea, SS2 5RH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Machinist: 1 year (preferred)
