Pipe Fitter

My client in the Ossett area of Wakefield are looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter
Duties of the role:
Welding of Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel Pipework, both small and large bore.
Working both in fabrication workshop, and on site as and when required.
Commercial and process pipework fabrication, welding, fitting and modification.
Fabricating pipework in accordance to Isometric drawings, P&iD's and job specifications.
Installation and or modification of commercial & industrial pipeline systems.
Working to tight tolerances.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Confident and with an ability to work unsupervised and work on own initiative.
Promote good housekeeping for an efficient working environment.
Setting standards and mentoring junior members of the team.
Requirments:
Ability to work all over the UK, either scheduled or ADHOC trips away from home is a must.
Good team working skills as well being able to work on own initiative. Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings.
A keen eye for detail, pride in delivering quality work and good work ethic.
A full UK driving licence is required.
A good understanding of technical drawings and be able to interpret safety instructions.
Resourceful, skilful, self-motivated, able to work without the need for direct supervision.
Approaches tasks with enthusiasm, adaptability, and energy.
Trustworthy, punctual and reliable.
Comfortable working outside in all elements of weather when required.
Experience of working to RAMS and adhering to sites health and safety requirements.
Overtime available
Working Hours:
Days regular 37 hours per week
8:00am
- 4:00pm Monday to thursday
8:00am
- 3:30pm Friday
