**1. Main Responsibilities**
- Running BL MC Doosan Milling Machines (Fanuc)
- Ensuring all quality standards are met
- Ability to set the machine, CNC programming experience desirable
- Carrying out preventative maintenance on machine
- Maintaining accuracy to ensure correct quantities go on to the next operation
- Engaging in 5S, HSE and continuous improvement projects within the machining department
- Ensuring the machine runs continuously throughout the shift, planning workload effectively to maximise throughput and fully utilise tooling
- Supporting the Machining department in other production tasks when the business requires -_bandsawing, drilling, tapping etc._
- An understating, interest and enthusiasm for manufacturing and engineering in practical terms
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- The ability to use inspection equipment to self-verify own work
- Can fully understand and meaningfully contribute to discussion and decisions within the machining team
- Self-motivated - can work independently and autonomously when required
- Effective communicator
- Can make accurate judgements and identify appropriate courses of action to address problems as they arise
- Innovative and proactive problem-solving
- Willing to work overtime to support business needs as and when required

**3. Desired experience and qualifications**
- Experience running CNC machines - Doosan/Fanuc highly desirable
- Must be willing to work shifts _(2-week rotation)_

**Salary**: £10.68-£12.60 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
