An exciting opportunity has arisen for three part-time Postdoctoral/Postgraduate Research Assistants to join the Research and innovation team at Royal Holloway to help support and develop our KTP portfolio. The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme is a well-established Innovate UK programme that has been helping businesses to grow using the knowledge, technology and skills held within UK universities. The post holders will engage with businesses and academics to build lasting partnerships that will go on to develop projects that are eligible for KTP funding.

Working with businesses and RHUL academics, the postholder will match business challenge with academic expertise. They will design and develop a database to store business details, challenges and activities and produce marketing materials to improve awareness and understanding of the KTP scheme. The postholders will go on to organise and host a workshop to bring together academics and businesses, communicate information around KTPs and develop KTP project ideas.

Communication is key to the post and the role will involve the dissemination of information, as well as facilitating a workshop and promoting the KTP scheme. There will be some travel to business events and premises for meetings.
