**Hardware Engineer**
We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a **Hardware Engineer**. This is a fantastic opportunity for proactive and hardworking individuals to join a busy and fast-paced team. This role is hybrid but mainly remote, only comingin when/if needed into the office.

This will be working for the Design & Development Engineering Manager who is a Chartered Engineer. They have worked in many different industries and has over 18 years' experience of being a manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work for someone with adynamic approach to leadership with exciting opportunities ahead.

For this role you will need a good degree, or equivalent, in electronics engineering or computer science, experience of IEEE embedded design and experience of electronics circuit design, integration and test within a project environment.
As a Hardware Engineer you will be responsible for the specification, design and completion of assigned electronics design tasks according to recognised best practice electronics design and to agreed cost, production engineering and test targets.
**You will be involved in product creation;**
- Creating electronics schematics to offer required product functionality
- Creating PCB layouts and selecting appropriate electronic components to support assigned design tasks
- Supporting firmware development as appropriate
- Liaising with global suppliers, hardware, software and manufacturing engineering teams to introduce and integrate new technology
- Working closely with the mechanical engineering team to achieve required radiated RF and EMC performance.
- Assuring that created designs meets agreed internal and product regulatory standards. Eg. CE/FCC/PTCRB/GCF/FDA/UL
- Experience with wireless communication implementation; Bluetooth, WiFi, ZigBee, LoRa, GPS
- Experience working with Altium Designer
- Product Design experience
- Experience of working within a manufacturing business would be advantageous but not essential.

This role can be at our sites in **Hook, Hampshire or Poynton, Stockport**.
