A Senior HSEQ Lead is required with technical abilities to support the growing team capabilities and support deliverance of ISO certificates, support team development to work and support field and operational requests.

We offer a flexible working environment where hybrid working is supported. Being located a reasonable distance from one of our UK offices for the times when you will be in the office is preferred.

Role

Providing support and advice to the business unit HSEQ Director and to the leadership team in:
- Identifying business unit (BU) priorities, objectives and targets aligning with global and regional strategies;- Strengthening health & safety culture and leadership;- Implementing and ensuring compliance with ERM H&S management system;- Identifying and implementing BU initiatives to minimize H&S risks and improve H&S performance.

Duties- Coordinate activity of members of the BU H&S Team (direct or indirect reports) Support development plans for members of the BU H&S Team- Coordinate activity of other BU staff members with H&S responsibilities, including Ergonomic Champions and Covid-19 coordinators- Monitor and report BU H&S performance against global, regional and BU H&S performance indicators. Identify and evaluate trends- Coordinate the BU activities related to H&S events reporting, investigation and follow-up through finalization- Drive sharing of information by analysing events from the Event Communication System, leading Root Cause Analyses and sharing results through Safety Alerts- Support and advise operational teams at opportunity, proposal and project phases. Oversee the activity of the BU HASP review team- Support and advise operational teams with regard to specific technical H&S matters including, but not limited to international travel, SSC, offshore, construction site, mobile construction equipment, hazardous works, UXOs, infectious disease controls- Support with the identification of H&S training needs and with the design and implementation of the H&S training plan, including facilitation of key H&S training sessions- Coordinate the implementation of global and regional H&S procedures and initiatives in the BU Coordinate the development and implementation of BU H&S procedures and tools. Coordinate the maintenance of existing external H&S certifications.

Technical skills- Global and regional SMS requirements- Safety Management System, ISO 45001, ISO9001 & ISO14001- Risk assessment and risk mitigation- Auditing Incident investigation and root cause analysis- Technical H&S matters relevant for the country operations. It may include international travel, SSC and utility detection techniques, offshore, working on vessels, mining, working on construction sites, mobile construction equipment, work at height, hot works, lockout tag-out, confined space entry, chemicals, UXOs, air carrier safety, workstation ergonomics, malaria and bite prevention )- Services and tools provided by ERM health, safety and security suppliers
