CNC Turner

Our client who is based in Weymouth is looking for a CNC turner to set and operate CNC lathes to produce aerospace components to customer specification.
Role includes:
Set and operate CNC lathes, some of which have live tooling
Check and inspect own work using inspection equipment (Verniers, micrometres, SPG's and PPG's)
In process inspection to ensure total process control is maintained
Manufacture components from engineering drawings to the correct quality standards
Ensure that information relating to the manufacturing process is accurately recorded, maintained and
updated to reflect current process on job cards
Ensure that preventative machine maintenance schedules are strictly carried out
Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times
Skills and experience required:

- Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent (indentures accepted)
- Aerospace experience is desired
- Knowledge of Fanuc systems
- Experience working with engineering drawings
