**Purpose of the Role**:
As an iTrent Payroll Consultant, your primary responsibility is to enhance the consultancy experience for our clients, focusing on Payroll, Paid Time, Absence, and Rostering. Taking the lead on client projects, your role is crucial in achieving customer success by being the key point of contact for both clients and consultants in your area of expertise. This role offers technical support to customers who are undergoing an implementation of iTrent by MHR, or where customers engage directly with Phase 3 for their solution implementation.

**Contribution to Business Growth & Development**:

- Develop consulting practices and strategies to deliver a high-performance service to clients.
- Provide support & enablement through coaching and mentoring for consultants and assistant consultants.
- Work along side the Customer Success Manager to identify any areas for growth & up-sell on your project delivery
- Ensure prompt identification and communication of any risks or issues to line managers and customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead client meetings to explore consultancy requirements, discuss project governance, and review scopes, including independent preparation.
- Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and partners to develop project initiation documents.
- Manage conflicting priorities and deadlines, prioritizing workloads effectively.
- Demonstrate knowledge and awareness across both HR and Payroll functions.
- Provide advice on configuration options and impact to clients and the team, leading discussions on product interfaces.
- Utilise reporting tools to create, edit, and schedule analytics suites for clients.
- Assist clients in planning, preparing, and cleansing data before system migration.
- Manage internal quality assurance testing and advise on user acceptance testing, taking responsibility for testing plans.
- Act as the lead contact for Phase 3 with clients and partners.
- Devise appropriate governance processes, change control, risk management, and communication strategies.
- Develop and deliver high-quality documents.
- Proactively ensure the highest standards of professionalism, service, and accuracy for team and project work when assigned.
- The lead consultant may not need to manage consultants directly but will be responsible for the quality of work.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Proven configuration experience of the MidlandHR product iTrent, in the Payroll, Absence, Paid Time or Rostering modules. This would include a general contextual awareness of the linkage between all other modules contained within the product.
- Ability to create, manage and correct complex user Calculations within iTrent
- Ability to understand changes to legislation and how this may impact a clients’ use of the solution
- Ability to support payroll transformations/migrations across multiple products including migrations into and out of iTrent
- Confident in the use of Business Objects
- Confident ownership of project life-cycles and methods, evidentially proven
- Contextual awareness, of HR and Payroll across multiple sectors and how iTrent is configured differently to meet the business needs
- Proven record performing project initiation/scoping sessions
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Confident with data migration
- Solution design, implementation, UAT and client training support experience
- Communicative fluency, both verbal and in documentation
- Strong analytical thinking and open-ness to learning
- Excitement about flexibility, independence, initiative and knowledge-sharing in your job
- Commitment to clients, team and a Phase 3 role
- Ability and willingness to travel if required although client travel is mínimal

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
