**Job Summary & Purpose**:
We are seeking a solution driven and highly motivated Supply Chain Buyer to support the Group Procurement Manager in Supply Chain activities. Mainly sourcing all types of vehicle parts and specialist services across the Group through just-in-time methods and maximising parts profit. You will business partner with stakeholders across the group and suppliers whilst taking ownership of a specific work provider category where you will manage end to end sourcing.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing vehicle parts such as mechanical, body and other vehicle sourcing requirements for new and onsite production requirements
- Supervision and organisation of all vehicle parts sourcing within a specific work provision category
- Sourcing and delivery of all parts to the required AD Williams location in a ‘Just in Time’ method
- Supporting and suggesting on Supply Chain processes and practises
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers through business partnering
- Managing back orders for vehicle parts and supply
- Sourcing smart utilising key strategic suppliers through the guided Supply Chain system with the aim to maximise parts profit and supply lead times
- Administration associated to all parts ordering daily activities.
- Supporting management and reduction of all returns awaiting credit in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Agreeing any purchasing requirements with internal stakeholders in line with policies and controls
- Policing and guiding the business on Supply Chain best practise

**Key Attributes, Skills, and Experience**:

- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP/procurement systems
- Previous manufacturing / automotive Supply Chain/Buying experience preferred but not essential
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- A strong, clear, and self-confident communicator (verbally/written)
- Ability to work to deadlines, demands and high volumes of sourcing activities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commercial acumen in buying
- Business partnering behaviours with strong influential skills
- Competent in using IT
- Solution and business partner driven with a “can do” attitude
