Position Overview:
The Senior Team Leader in Semi-Independent Living will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the semi-independent living program. This role involves providing guidance and support to a team of support workers, ensuring the well-being and development of young adults transitioning into independent living. The Senior Team Leader will play a key role in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, promoting personal growth, and collaborating with external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:
Team Leadership:

- Supervise and lead a team of support workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to ensure the well-being of program participants.

Participant Support
- Provide individualized support to young adults in the program, addressing their emotional, social, and practical needs.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans in collaboration with the team and external agencies.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor participants' progress and adjust support plans as needed.

Program Management:

- Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the semi-independent living program.
- Coordinate daily activities, schedules, and resources to ensure a safe and supportive living environment.

External Collaboration:

- Liaise with local authorities, social services, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Maintain positive relationships with external agencies and organisations to provide comprehensive support to program participants.

Personal Development:

- Facilitate workshops and activities to promote life skills development, including budgeting, cooking, and job readiness.
- Encourage participants to set and work towards personal goals, fostering independence and self-confidence.

Crisis Management:

- Handle crisis situations effectively and promptly, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants and staff.
- Implement appropriate interventions and follow established protocols.

Reporting and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of participant progress, incidents, and support plans.
- Prepare regular reports for management and relevant authorities.

Quality Assurance:

- Ensure the program operates in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a similar role within a semi-independent living or residential setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation, and best practices in social care and independent living.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Compassionate, patient, and able to build rapport with young adults.

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Semi Independent: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- DBS on the update system. (preferred)

Work Location: In person
