**Job Summary**:

- £85 - £100 per day - **PAYE, no hidden agency/umbrella company fees**
- Full time - **Ongoing throughout the academic year**
- Here at _**Ortus Recruitment **_we are seeking an Unqualified Behaviour Mentor to join one of our thriving, vibrant mainstream primary schools. The school is Ofsted rated _**‘Good’**_and they have managed to maintain that rating through 3 separate visits. The school have a tightknit staff team and they hold fortnightly well being meetings to promote a positive attitude to working._

**Must have**:

- A clear enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment - **£52**
- Two obtainable childcare relevant references
- Experience working alongside children in care, residential, school or social settings (Coaching, Nannying, Tutoring)

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide additional 1:1 support to pupils who have challenging behaviour across KS1 and KS2
- Build and maintain a positive rapport with both pupils and staff
- Work closely with the class teacher to ensure each pupil is receiving the necessary support
- Implement behaviour strategies and management plans

**Requirements**:

- You must have a passion for working with children and be dedicated to aiding their academic and behavioural development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to adapt to situations and display problem solving skills
- Be patient and resilient
- Have an understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to promoting safety and wellbeing of pupils
