**Location: Folkestone**
**Salary Scale: £75 - £90 per day**
**Start Date: ASAP**
**Contract: Day-day temporary and Long-term Contracts**
GSL Education Kent are looking to hire **Cover Supervisors** for vacancies across schools in Folkestone. If you are looking to switch careers or waiting for fresh employment opportunities after your graduation, then this could be the perfect startto finding out if this is something you want to pursue in the long run We do not require you to have any teaching-specific qualifications for the **Cover Supervisor** role.
**As a Cover Supervisor, you will be expected to**:

- Take responsibility for groups or classes of students in the short-term absence of their usual teacher
- Be responsible for supervising work that has been set in accordance with school policy
- Manage the behaviour of students to ensure a constructive environment whilst undertaking work
- Respond to any questions and deal with any immediate problems or emergencies in accordance with the school's policies and procedures
- Be passionate about education
- Be able to inspire and motivate young people
- Have high expectations for students' learning, achievement and behaviour
- Be creative, friendly and approachable
