Barracudas Activity Day Camps are the UK’s favourite for holiday childcare. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual who is highly motivated and wants to join a growing company.
**Purpose of the job**
**Main responsibilities / Duties**
- Proactively manage & maintain social media channels and grow ‘followers’
- Plan, create and schedule engaging and relevant content for our target audience
- Respond to customer enquiries received through social media channels
- Plan, create and optimise paid campaigns (Google Ads and Social Media Ads)
- Design graphics, gifs and video for use on website & social media channels
- Manage artwork schedule with our out-of-house designer
- Manage photography/videography at camps for promotional use
- Research and engage influencers for promotional campaigns
- Research and manage podcast campaigns
- Carry out SEO audits and identify actions and updates
- Research, write and publish a regular blog/content for the website
- Develop communications for and coordinate our schools’ partnership campaigns
- Develop our Employee Benefits scheme to partner with companies/organisations
- Encourage positive customer reviews on Trustpilot and Google
- Promote new camp locations to build awareness and encourage bookings
- Track, measure and report on success of all campaigns
- Identify new trends and opportunities in digital marketing and technology
- Manage and develop seasonal staff communications
**Additional requirements**
- Work on printed material, mailings and offline campaigns from time to time
- Offer customer telephone support during peak times
- Manage and track Charity fundraising - including on camp and booking system contributions
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Contribute to the sharing of knowledge amongst colleagues as required
- Provide support for other colleagues when necessary
- Show commitment to continuous professional development
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Essential**
- 5 A* - C GCSE including Maths and English, or equivalent
**Desirable**
**EXPERIENCE**
**Essential**
- **Editing and writing skills**: To create and edit content for various digital platforms. Utilise Al technology to develop content. Sound proofreading and editing skills
- **Project management skills**: To handle time-sensitive projects involving others and working to deadlines
**Desirable**
- Experience of between one and three years in a digital communications and marketing role
- Advanced design and video editing skills
- Photography
- Confident, outgoing, proactive and good communicator
Salary mentioned is dependant on experience and is based on full-time hours, however we are flexible on hours and part-time hours may be considered.
