Axcis Education is looking for an experienced teaching assistant to work in 1:2:1 capacity. You will be working closely with a child with autism (ASD) and another child with additional needs in an alternative primary school in the Totnes area. Experience working with children with autism (ASD) is desirable but not essential. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 3:30.

A child centred education is at the heart of the school’s curriculum. The school have built themes related to science and the environment and have implemented a ‘hands on’ community approach to learning. The school endeavour to build upon the individual interests of every child, and therefore provide opportunities to develop self-confidence, self-esteem and independence. The school are well established in the community and aim to ensure all children leave school becoming respectful, confident, caring and compassionate individuals.

Axcis pay weekly, every Friday. Your pay rate will be £75-£95 per day.
