Equi-Trek are the leading manufacturers of equestrian and leisure vehicles, supplying to the UK and overseas, based in Stocksbridge, S36.
An opportunity has arisen to join our Finance team as an **Apprentice Accounts Administrator. **The role will include a variety of accounts-based tasks including some general administrative duties.
**Main duties/responsibilities**:
- Sales ledger processing (raising sales invoices and credit notes)
- Cash book postings/reconciliation. Posting and reconciling transactions from the bank statement on a daily basis
- Processing petty cash receipts and expenses
- Purchase ledger processing (processing purchase invoices from suppliers)
- General administration duties, including answering incoming calls for the department, sorting incoming mail and filing/scanning various documents.
Pay is negotiable depending on previous experience and qualifications.
**You will have/be**:
- An interest in accounts/finance and looking to pursue a career in this field whilst keen to gain practical experience.
- A highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Computer literate with good IT skills. This post does not require previous experience on specific accounting software as training will be given.
- The ability to pay close attention to detail.
**In return, we can offer**:
- An apprenticeship with **AAT qualification** (or equivalent) up to Level 4.
- Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm with 1 hour lunch break.
- **26 days holidays** + 8 Bank Holidays
