**About The Role**

**Location: Landor Street, Birmingham**
- Salary £13.15 per hour / £30,763.04 per annum
- Rotating shift pattern; Week 1:

- 05:30-14:00 Monday - Friday + Saturday 06:00-14:00. Week 2 - 13:30-22:00 Monday-Friday.
- Experience of operating a Loading shovel is essential.
- Bank Holidays are normal working days.
- Fully PPE provided

**What will I be doing?**
- To manage the operation of loading shovel, and if appropriately trained, any other mobile plant in use.
- To record and report any defects.
- To ensure the maximisation of recycling and recovery within the facility, whilst minimising the amount of waste that is sent to landfill.
- To always ensure pedestrian and vehicle segregation.
- Ensuring the full compliance with all health and safety, permit and environmental legislation.

**What are the requirements?**

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required.

You will need:

- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Experience of operating loading shovel preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
