**Job Description: Band 5 Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)**:
Are you an experienced Operating Department Practitioner looking for temporary work at North Bristol NHS Trust? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team at Southmead Hospital, located on Southmead Road in Bristol.

As a Band 5 ODP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that each operation runs smoothly and safely, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative care.

Your shift will start at 08:00 am and end at 20:30 pm, giving you plenty of time to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. And the best part? You will be paid £343 per shift, with payment made through PAYE.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating theatre for procedures
- Provide support and care to patients before, during, and after surgery
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
