A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate **Senior Housekeeper **to join the **Housekeeping **team at The Berkeley.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
As a **Senior Housekeeper,** you will assist the Director of Housekeeping and Assistant Director of Housekeeping in directing and controlling the operation and training of the Housekeeping Department.
Main responsibilities of the **Senior Housekeeper **include, but are not limited to:
- To ensure the smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department, making optimum use of the resources available.
- To ensure that standards of efficiency, punctuality and appearance are maintained by all staff.
- To deputise for the senior member of the Housekeeping team in her/his absence.
- To check the staff attendance in the morning and record sickness and absence.
- To check the handover book for outstanding items from the previous evening and take whatever action necessary.
- To ensure that all bedrooms, public Areas and Linen Room are adequately staffed.
