A number of fantastic opportunities have arisen to join FEV UK on a full time, permanent basis, based at our one of our customer sites in Coventry.
We are looking for Automotive Engineers who have experience or a background in testing automotive systems. This can include but not limited to; engineering collaboration, software testing, test calibration, transmission calibration, HIL, Powertrain, data logging.
FEV UK is the subsidiary for the British market covering the UK customers and together with our global teams we deliver projects. From our modern UK test and engineering centre in Coventry we work on modern powertrain projects contributing to significant reductionin CO2 in transportation and mobility.
**Your new role**
Do you have an engineering degree with the career aspirations to learn and develop within a market leading business?

**Ideally you will have an engineering degree and knowledge of**
- Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical, electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable course of study
- Experience with automotive BUS systems (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet)
- Experience with HiL systems (Vector, dSPACE) including associated automation tools (e.g. ECU test, AutomationDesk, vTestStudio)
- Good knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. Python, CAPL, Matlab, Simulink)
- Knowledge of development processes for embedded systems
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
- High sense of responsibility, very good analytical skills and excellent communication skills, along with working in a team
**Other key duties will include**
- Calibrate, test and validate e-powertrain controls system
- Specification and automation of test cases in close coordination with the function developers
- Execution of automated and manual tests on HiLs and in vehicles
- Creation of test reports, analysis of quality defects, tracking of quality defects found and communication
**What you will get in return**
You will earn a salary of £30,000 - £45,000, depending on experience and specialist knowledge. Additional benefits are up to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension contribution, access to a bike scheme, vehicle scheme and training opportunities aspart of FEV UK.
