Icam Engineering, founded in 1964, iCAM Engineering are a second-generation family run business. The company specialises in the manufacture of high-quality Stainless-Steel fabrications, to a wide range of industries. Supplying a diverse product line which includes Sampling Cylinders, Sensor Housings, Probes, Sampling Systems, Gas and Fluid Handling Systems, Manifolds, Pigtails, VCR Welded Assemblies, Thermowells, Coolers, and Cyclones.

The company also has extensive experience in the manufacturing of high integrity chemical cylinders. Producing its first cylinder back in 1986, using a combination of manual and orbital welding techniques. Today we rely on the same proven procedure and skills to produce thousands of full penetrations sealing welds, essential for the containment of highly unstable compounds.

We are looking for a Semi-Skilled Operator with a positive, professional, flexible and hands on approach with a desire to improve the business and develop their career by increasing skills.

The Semi-Skilled Operator should be prepared to work within our Health and Safety Guidelines and to engage with our Continuous Improvement Culture. The Semi-Skilled Operators primary role is to provide a support to the and Production Shift Manager by operating machines, processing parts.

Role Purpose / Essential Duties and Responsibilities Expected to use machines and hand tools and be flexible in their duties. Training will be given just need to be positive and willing to listen and learn.

Operates
- Lathes,
- Milling machines,
- Grinders
- Saw

Skills and Experience

Tasks require a relatively short period of training or experience to enable completion of tasks to a define level of quality and output, under some supervision.

Experience of working in a Manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings Use measuring equipment

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
