We are looking for a Data Analyst to support us on our data journey, helping the team to introduce new technologies to the business, developing and maintaining our current and new Analytics and Data interfaces.
You will help us gather business requirements and translate them into technical ones, support in the data design and architecture, model complex datasets, create interactive data visualisations and support in transforming Cygnet into a data driven business.
**Some duties will include...**
- Work with multiple stakeholders to understand, interpret and translate constant business requirements
- Work with Key business areas to identify data sources and reporting opportunities
- Creating interactive Reporting and BI solutions using SSRS and Power BI
- Create Ad hoc data analysis requests using Excel, SSRS and Power BI
- Data modelling (using Excel, Power BI / Power Query, Snowflake)
- Maintain and develop BAU reports (SSRS and Power BI)
- Data investigation, testing and quality checks
- Support in the admin of reporting and Dashboard platforms (SSRS and Power BI)
- Support the junior team members
- Support the Business in understanding the data journey by being an advocate for the Analytics tools and solutions
- Troubleshoot Reports, BI solutions and Analytics solutions utilising querying tools and analytical skills
- Work closely with Data Developers / Engineers to validate data from pipelines
- Communicate and support the business with data analysis and report interpretation
- Creating and managing Power BI workspaces and Apps
- Creating and managing SSRS folders, security and Subscriptions
- Bring new ideas and expertise to support in developing the team
