**Position**:Logistics Coordinator
**Location**: Golborne
**Position Type**:Mon-Fri 7.30am - 4.00pm
**Salary**: £24,779.00 with an increase after a successful probationary period

**Company Overview**: WBS are a market leader of the technical development, supply of external wall insulation systems, through-colour renders and decorative coatings.

**The Main Responsibilities**
- Engage all customers by communicating in a friendly and professional manner ensuring that a good impression is maintained at all times.
- Liaising with Hauliers and Drivers, using various haulage companies to best suit customers’ requirements
- Negotiating Logistic Costs
- Answering and responding to all incoming calls in a prompt and polite manner.
- Liaising with the warehouse and supply chain teams ensuring the smooth operation of the transport department.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed promptly and accurately
- Maintain a safe working environment that complies with all aspects of the company’s H & S Policy

**The main skills and experience needed must include**
- Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word & Excel)
- Previous administration experience - transport office advantageous
- Good numeric skills - including accuracy.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Good level of financial understanding
- Flexibility
- Help maintain a motivating focused team environment.
- Enjoys working to deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative, demonstrates organizational skills
