We are working on an unmissable opportunity for a Management Accountant to work with this award-winning finance team. The Management Accountant will have responsibility for their northern European entities, including the UK, Germany, Holland and the Nordics. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, this requirement is essential in delivering the monthly management account packs,reconciling and maintaining various balance sheet accounts as well as offering analytical evaluations.

This hands-on and forward-thinking position will also engage in the development of financial data for future business projects, interpreting information along with constantly seeking the best practice in procedures and controls. The Management Accountantrole would suit a forward-thinking individual, that possesses great attention to detail, encompassing all elements of delivering management accounts together with supporting transactional accounting and assisting with project-based assignments.

We are eager to engage with well-rounded accountants, either qualified or finalists, that are either looking for their first move from practice into industry, or a QBE from industry with management accounts experience that will add-value to reporting processesin a driven and progressive multinational business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing monthly Management Accounts for a subsidiary
- Review and evaluate profit and loss accounts (P&L)
- Analyse and interpret data to gain a detailed view of the balance sheet
- Aid the development of financial data packs for future business projects
- Constant maintenance of balance sheet reconciliation
- Accruals, Journals and Prepayments
- VAT returns are submitted to deadlines
- Complete accurate recording of fixed assets and liabilities
- Maintain the general ledger accounts including dealing with several different currencies
- Any other ad hoc duties/tasks

**What we are looking for**:

- Qualified or finalist accountant, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent, or QBE as a Company Accountant, Management Accountant or Financial Accountant
- Commercially astute approach to assignments along with the knowledge of maintain financial accounts
- Highly numerate with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong IT skills including Excel, any ERP systems experience (Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero etc)
