CNC Setter/operator

**Main Purpose**:
To produce high quality parts to required standards, and timescales, and to assist in the introduction and development of productivity improvements within the department, supporting Production Engineering.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Setting/Operating CNC Lathes, Fixed and sliding head type machines (full training given).
- Carry out adjustments to tooling/machine setting to achieve part component tolerances.
- Ability to interpret CNC programmes (FANUC), and carry out edits as required.
- Use a variety of machinery and equipment as required.
- Carry out work to close limits, read and assess drawings, and inspect to company standards using appropriate equipment in an ISO9001 environment.
- Carry out routine equipment maintenance as required.
- Work in a safe and organized manner in accordance with EHS regulations.

**Other Duties**:

- You will be expected to carry out other duties as required that are commensurate with your position in the company and your skill level

**Health and Safety**:

- You are responsible for working within the company Health and Safety Guidelines at all times.
