A leading scaffolding contractor based in London is currently looking for an experienced Scaffold Health & Safety Advisor to join them
In line with planned expansion, the Scaffold Health & Safety Advisor will join their SHEQ team.
As the Scaffold Health & Safety Advisor, your role will include, but won?t be limited to;
- Carrying out two weekly site visits and record findings in reports using MS Word or specialist software Procore.
- Auditing scaffold documentation supporting the package of works, including design drawings, TG20 compliance certificates, manufacturers information, task briefings, RAMS, tie test reports, handover certificates
- Assessing ongoing compliance with our operational scaffold activities and advising on suitable action plans
- Coordination and communication with our Supervisor/ Contracts Manager and Client on findings
- Provide advice and guidance on all scaffold matters to current industry standards (NASC TG20, TG4, SG4, etc)
- To have a duty of care in reporting unsafe practices whilst on LMB Scaffold projects.
- Lead and assist in Accident / Incident investigations, where required
- Monitoring the use and condition of PPE, FPE, tools, and tethers used by our teams and ensuring the weekly inspections have been completed.
- Preparing and issuing Internal Health and Safety Alerts highlighting H&S Issues/Concerns, sharing best practices, etc.
- To have the ability to work effectively in a team and maintain good relationships with both LMB project team and the Client site management team.
- Attend Client Health & Safety Meetings and Pre Starts when required.
- Assist with external auditing requirements including Scaffold Association and ISO 45001.
- Complete Prequalification Documentation for Clients as part of the process for securing works.
**Skills and Experience**
Experience in working within the UK scaffolding industry in a Safety Inspector/Manager/Advisor role
Good knowledge of current UK scaffold industry NASC guidance (Particularly SG4, SG25, TG4, TG20)
CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection card holder
CISRS Advanced Scaffolder
SMSTS
NEBOSH general (minimum) or a ISOH qualification
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
Able to read and understand complex design engineering drawings
Full UK Driving Licence
