**Your mission**:
**_ Should you choose to accept it _**

The main gig for the Housekeeping BOH supervisor to ensure that linen porter, housekeeping runners and public area team mates are trained to and maintain Virgin standard and are empowered to provide the best customer service. This takes loads of coordination and isn’t for the faint of heart.

The Housekeeping BOH supervisor is always visible and is constantly walking the floor, checking housekeeping pantries and storage. They are responsible for managing housekeeping linen and amenity stock. They do this by working with a collaborative hotel-wide team. We believe that life is better when you love your job and we are looking for someone who loves Housekeeping (who couldn’t right?)

**_ What exactly you will be doing _**

In helping you understand your role in working for a world class organization, the following is a list of your essential job responsibilities. Please keep in mind that this list is not all inclusive and that you may be asked to perform other job tasks by your supervisors/managers not listed below in the constant quest to provide “out of this world” customer service experience for our guests:

- Ensures higher than normal quality standards for: hotel rooms, public areas, food beverage outlets and the heart of the house
- Management of linen porters, public area team, housekeeping porters
- Training, training, training And more training Did we mention you might be training? You will work closely with the Executive Head housekeeper to ensure all team mates training is completed and team is maintaining Virgin housekeeping standards
- It’s about the money, honey You’ve got some budgetary guidelines to follow - we are looking for a lean and mean scheduling machine. Your management will ensure team members are acting responsibly, prevent any wastage and keep trolleys and housekeeping pantries neat and tidy.
- It’s all about the guest Understands flexibility, “grey areas” and thinking out of the box.
- Loves to have FUN. Housekeeping is a hard job, sure, but we want our staff to work hard and have fun.
- The safety and security of our guests and teammates is our priority. Complies with all safety procedures and trains staff in all legal and appropriate areas.

**Background must-have**:

- Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United Kingdom
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of Housekeeping experience.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management/co-workers, both in person and on the telephone.
- Relevant computer knowledge
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including on the weekends, holidays and nights.
