Our people make all the difference in our success, WEX is currently looking for a Field Sales Zone Manager to join the business to be responsible for both the UK and Norway. Please note that this role is a remote based role (UK) but will involve regular travel to our Manchester City Centre and Norway offices.

This exciting role within the business is ideally suited to individuals that have previous Sales Management experience
- ideally of managing teams across different countries. The successful individual will be pure sales driven and have the ability to work on acquisitions and be driven by solely new business.

The field sales zone leader is expected to lead by example, cultivate their team members development, ensure performance targets are met and groom team members for the next steps in their careers. This is a unique sales management opportunity to create and nurture a culture of top performance. You will lead a team of hunters who consistently acquire new accounts, maintain robust pipelines and exceed their quotas.

Knowledge & Skills required
- Previous sales management experience - a professional sales leader with strong self-led organisational and motivational skills.
- A graduate with business related degree in sales or General Management.
- Must be collaborative individual with the ability to manage the balance between the operational requirements of the business whilst achieving sales targets.
- General manager type experience (country or regional)
- A proven track record in leading and developing a high performing sales team.
- Experience in managing telesales and field sales teams.
- Developing and maximizing all routes to market.
- International company experience (preferably Europe and UK combined).
- Tenacity, strong work ethic with the will to win.
- Worked within a shared Service Centre environment.
- Salesforce experience - ideally experience of management, creating, tracking and reporting.

Essential duties & Responsibilities
- Holding team members accountable to key performance indicators
- Ensuring your team maintains a robust and healthy poplins, from a 30, 60 and 9- perspective.
- Conducting regular field visits with team members.
- Being involved in sales meeting / negotiations with your team members for key opportunities.
- Ensuring consistent and transparent reporting of sales funnel and performance to executive leadership.
- Working in conjunction with the Senior Sales Director, hiring and training of new resources, as well as performance management for representatives not achieving results.
