SF Recruitment are looking for an Interim Buyer for our client based in Nottingham. This is a 6 month contract role working Monday to Friday paying £28+ per hour.

If you are immediately available and have prior procurement experience then you will be perfect for this role

**Main Duties**:

- Responsible for purchasing a range of goods as decided by the Purchasing Manager.
- Negotiating prices and terms to reduce costs where possible.
- Responsible for maintaining a strong level of availability on all items purchased.
- Evaluate and establish new suppliers by suitable means.
- Responsible for planning and prioritising own workload, to maximise the efficiency of the department.
- Provide stock forecasts and targets.
- Ensure suppliers work to agreed standards of quality. Raise quality concerns when required and ensure corrective action is implemented.
- Build strong relationships with all suppliers.
- Delegate tasks to the Purchasing Administrators and monitor progress.
- Responsible for working to agreed budgets at all times.
