**Learning Support Assistant**

Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to support classrooms of Primary and Secondary students in the Berkshire areas. The positions are available to start ASAP and will run on a regular basis either full-time or flexiblyalongside your diary You will be supporting specific students with Additional Learning Needs 1:1 or working more generally across the classroom to support the teacher.

What is Required to be a Learning Support Assistant?

- Enhanced DBS certificate available on the update service

What does a Learning Support Assistant do?

The successful applicants will be working in our partnership schools with students aged 4-16 years on 1:1 basis or small intervention groups in a classroom setting. The main duties of an LSA include assisting students with the understanding of the work theyhave been set by the Subject Teacher, caring for the student’s well-being, safeguarding of students, managing challenging behaviours and keeping them task focused.
