**Head of Security (High-profile location)**
**Salary: £50,000 - £55,000**
**Location: Central London**

**Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours)**

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Security Manager to oversee the delivery of security at a high-profile customer focused location in Central London. This role will see you manage a team of security officers in a fast paced environment as well as shaping the security strategy.

You will be a Security Management professional with proven experience leading security teams and managing security strategy relating to counter terrorism planning and emergency response/planning. Experience managing event security operations is also required.

**Applicants should meet the following criteria**:

- Experience managing the delivery of strategic and operational security at a busy and challenging environment is essential.
- An experienced people manager with the ability to lead and develop staff
- Experience implementing security strategy relating to counter terrorism, emergency planning/response, threat assessment etc.
- A passion for service excellence
- Experience planning the delivery of security at events.
- Experience of influencing and engaging senior stakeholders
- SIA License holder

**Key duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Managing the delivery of site security in a busy and high-profile environment.
- Conduct and monitor staff appraisals and encourage further development
- Staff training and development across core areas such as counter terrorism response, customer service and effective communication.
- The planning and implementation of Incident management and response
- Event security planning and preparation
- Safeguarding of various assets to include people, buildings and information
- Assist with the strategic planning of the security function
- Oversee the delivery of control room operations
- Cross functional working with the Property and Facilities teams.
- Undertake risk assessments
- Liaise with emergency services when required
- Management of 3rd party suppliers
