We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar at Alba. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the bar staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of beverages, and the ability to manage inventory and cash flow.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Team Management**: Supervise bar staff, including bartenders and barbacks, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- ** Customer Service**: Ensure guests receive excellent service, addressing any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- ** Inventory Management**: Manage bar inventory, including ordering beverages and supplies, tracking stock levels, and conducting regular inventory checks.
- ** Quality Control**: Ensure all drinks are prepared according to the bar's standards, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
- ** Cash Handling**: Oversee cash transactions, ensuring accurate cash flow and proper financial documentation.
- ** Safety and Compliance**: Ensure the bar complies with all local regulations, including responsible alcohol service, health, and safety regulations.
- ** Event Coordination**: Assist in organizing and supervising bar-related events, such as happy hours, tastings, or private parties.
- ** Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other restaurant staff to ensure seamless operations and a positive work environment.
- ** Scheduling and Staffing**: Assist in creating staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Experience**: Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- ** Beverage Knowledge**: Strong understanding of various alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- ** Leadership Skills**: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
- ** Customer Service Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- ** Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring smooth bar operations.
- ** Cash Handling**: Experience with cash transactions and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- ** Compliance Knowledge**: Understanding of local liquor laws and health and safety regulations.
- ** Problem-Solving**: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues that may arise during bar operations.
- ** Flexibility**: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
