**Are you an IT Contracts Specialist looking for your next role?**

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **IT Contracts Specialist **to join our IT team on a **Fixed term basis for 12 months**. Based from our head office in Basingstoke, you'll combine home and office working to ensure a positive work / life balance.

**The role**

You will be responsible for the post award commercial management of IT contracts and agreements, including renewals and termination. Responsibilities include:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Managing all IT contracts and agreements, including IT hardware, software, and services from the commercial standpoint
- Establishing a sustainable contract management capability for managing all IT contracts and agreements post-award
- Ensuring all contracts renewals are negotiated and executed compliantly and in a timely and effective manner, in accordance with our goals and objectives
- Working in conjunction with the Procurement team on IT contract termination and exit activities
- Driving supplier-related improvement activities to maximise the return on value from supplier interactions, including cost savings, social value, and other non-financial contract benefits

**What we're looking for**

You should have previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing a portfolio of IT contracts and agreements, including drafting, negotiation, and execution. You should also have:

- Experience in establishing and implementing sustainable contract management practices
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including suppliers and internal teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex contracts and agreements
- Knowledge of Public sector procurement processes and practices with up-to-date knowledge of Public Procurement regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Familiarity with contract management software and tools
- A CIPS qualification is desirable, but not essential
