**Job Description**:
**A bit of background**

The 'GTM' finance team is seeking a highly proactive finance business partner to drive business value and insight by working closely with the industry market leads and their direct reports within our GTM organisation. This position will provide financial management and rigour, decision support and insight grounded in management information. They will collaborate closely with FP&A and forecasting operations teams who are based both onshore and offshore in the delivery of their role.

The GTM finance team is on a journey to drive optimisation of processes, and there is an opportunity to get involved in a number of project areas designed to embed best practice. This position provides the opportunity to partner with a diverse group of professionals in the UK and other locations, and it has access to an array of professional development and career advancement opportunities.

The Finance Partner for GTM role provides unique opportunities including
- Direct exposure to the GTM leadership team. The role requires support, challenge, and influence be delivered to multiple senior leaders on a regular basis;
- Support the sales team to determine key new business priorities and opportunities through industry trends;
- Contributing to multiple aspects of the sales cycle from deal structure, optimal deal outcomes, forecasting and technical accounting (IFRS15);
- Play a key role in driving reporting and insight into GTM performance;
- Drive forecasting processes and techniques to actively help the team understand new business requirements mid to long term;
- Helps business leaders to understand and explain performance and key drivers;
- Help to drive global agenda for process improvement and sales efficiency;
- Partner effectively beyond designated GTM to support broader finance and business initiatives and meet internal information requirements.

**What you’ll be doing**

**Provide Functional Management Information & Insight**
- Manage ongoing reporting, analytics, and insights on performance metrics to benchmark progress against targets, initiatives, and strategies.
- Develop analytics to leverage data and identify insights and opportunities. Challenge business managers, as needed, to drive better decisions, and optimise results.
- Contribute content for the Functional Management meetings to inform and provide context on trends and opportunities / risks.

**Oversee Core Processes and Controls**
- Ensure forecasting and month end processes are completed on time in full, incorporating challenge, and featuring business sign off (alignment)
- Maintain a strong control environment including around balance sheet positions
- Regularly review cost profile, and challenge the business to optimise spend.

**Partner with the Business to create value**
- Actively influence business decisions through providing scenarios, contingency and "real options".
