Café Cook

**Job role overview**:
You will be expected to have a well rounded view of most roles and tasks within the Deli Café including cooking, front of house, daily cleans and other general tasks.

This role requires an individual that is enthusiastic, organised, can follow instruction but also works using their own initiative, isn't afraid to get stuck in, excellent customer service skills and comes with positivity in spades.

**Roles main duties and responsibilities**:
**A typical day will include preparing food, making Coffee, serving food, providing excellent customer service and general cleaning.**
- **Team work**: Work to a consistent high level. Work alongside the rest of the team to provide the best service possible and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently. Take and implement any instructions from the Owner.
- **Customer service**: Provide excellent customer service with all customers and suppliers.
- **Development/Growth**: Work with the Owner to bring the vision for the Deli Café to life. Offer suggestions and ideas to make this a reality.
- **Health and safety, food hygiene standards**: Work with the Owner to ensure health and safety, and food hygiene standards and ‘best’ practices are adhered to.

**How will I succeed**:

- Look for ways to improve on current customer service
- Help grow the Deli Cafés reputation and processes
- Deliver excellent customer service to all customers and suppliers

**What I need to know**:
**Essential**:

- Experience working within the hospitality industry preparing food
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Ability to work from instruction but also to use own initiative
- Organised individual
- Enthusiastic individual that is willing to learn
- Strong team player

**Desirable**:

- Food waiting experience
- EPOS system experience
- Certificate in Food Hygiene level 2 and Allergens

Part-time hours: 7 per week

**Salary**: £8.20-£10.42 per hour
