**Fixed Term or secondment for 18 Months and Full Time**

We are looking for a Neighbourhood Connector to support the council’s new Community Connections Fund.

The Community Connections Fund is Lambeth’s new grant scheme to support local groups who have big ideas, to make their communities better, fairer, and safer places to live.

This £4million fund has been raised through developers’ payments into the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) and will be spent in phases over the next three years. NCIL funds projects which address the impact of new development and ensure local people benefit from sustainable growth in the borough.

The fund will support projects in the neighbourhoods of North Lambeth, Waterloo, Brixton, and Stockwell, to deliver projects that respond to the ambitions of the Borough Plan and align to local priorities.

Key to the success of the fund will be close working with the community to build capacity and to enable local leadership of projects. We are looking for someone who can build strong connections with local organisations and across council departments.

**We are looking for a Neighbourhood Connector to**:

- Support the successful delivery of the 14 first round projects awarded c. £900k of funding through close working with the grant recipients and attention to management and monitoring
- Support the Regeneration team to design and deliver the next funding round, learning lessons from round 1
- Work collaboratively with a range of council departments to develop the council’s approach to working with the VSC sector through capturing learnings, refining processes and identifying opportunities for innovation
