We are looking for an **Inspector** to join our team based in **Billingham**. This is a **full-time, permanent role**and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary plus benefits.**

**Paralloy Ltd** is situated in the UK and has 3 sites - Billingham, Middlesbrough, and Sheffield. The business has a worldwide presence and is a major supplier to the petrochemical market. The success of the company has been built on developingquality products in rapid lead times supported by a focused approach to customer service.

**Working hours of the Inspector role**: 37 hours per week, working the shifts required by the department, which at present is a rotational pattern of days and nights.

**Responsibilities of ourInspectorwill include**:

- Inspection of fabricated assemblies at various stages of assembly to ensure they conform with customer quality plan/drawings.
- Weld procedure checking.
- Dye penetrant of assemblies.
- PMI testing of materials and welds.
- Checking completed assemblies against the final inspection report.
- Completion of material location sheets.
- Liaising with appropriate personnel.
- Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy’s safety standards and procedures.
- General 5S housekeeping / Operator PPM.

**What we’re looking for in ourInspector**:

- Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Able to assist in the fabrication of assemblies when necessary.
- ASNT DPI Level 2 certification.
- Potential training to C-SWIP 3.0 level
- Good communication skills: both written and verbal.
- A good understanding of health & safety, environmental issues and quality rules.
