Worldwide market leading multinational engineering company working with clients in the automotive, scientific, pharmaceutical, electronics, renewable energy and food processing industries are currently recruiting Graduate Mechanical Design Engineers to designnew products in may areas using CAD. They are also recruiting Graduate Mechanical Engineers to work developing air products, using Thermodynamics and Fluid Dynamics, and lastly Graduate Development Engineers to improve and develop exisiting products usingCAD, FEA and Materials skills. This global company has several exciting Graduate Mechanical Engineer openings in various teams.
**Salary and benefits**:
£26,500 - £27,000 (depending on experience), superb career and technical progression available, Bonus Scheme, Annual Bonus, Excellent Pension, Private Healthcare Cover, 25 days holiday, subsidised canteen and sports and social club. **The company offers excellent training and career progressio Relocation package**also available where required.

**Responsibilities**
The role involves reviewing requests for customised existing automation and pneumatic products from sales to ensure specification is clear and viable; working with designers to create concept designs of customised existing products to meet customer's request;creating detailed parts drawings for prototype testing with designer; carrying out testing of pneumatic and automation products; being responsible for ensuring timely completion of own projects; participation on larger projects with supervision from seniorEngineer; providing technical product support to European subsidiaries; visiting customers to determine technical requirements for special products; participating in technical market research activities and providing technical support concerning directivesand standards relevant to automation products.

Experience of managing projects. Experience of working in a design environment and CAD (ideally Solidworks). Experience in writing technical reports. Ability to work as part of a multicultural team. Able to travel to European customers when required. Relevantexperience. PC skills: minimum MS Word and Excel. Excellent spoken and written English.

Ideally you will have some practical experience working within an engineering company either on a sandwich placement, a placement or paid similar, but this is not essential.
