Job description

We are currently recruiting for an HGV Driver to work MONDAY - FRIDAY for a leading distributor based in Rosyth with great hours and benefits.

This HGV Driver role is a permanent position working Monday - Friday 07:30am - 5:30pm (0730 - 1730) on a salary of £25,740. per annum.

As HGV Driver, you will ensure full
- and on-time deliveries to our clients customer base in excellent condition, promoting the business and following health and safety.

**Your role as Driver and Warehouse Operative will include**:
Ensure delivery paperwork is signed for and any discrepancies clearly marked
Keep in constant communication of any issues or delays which could affect service levels
Ensure all transport related documentation is compliant with legislation (e.g. working time directive, taco graph)
Report any damage or discrepancies to the Operations Manager
Complete daily log sheets
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Check all customer returns are correctly packaged and strapped to avoid damages
Loading vehicles
Daily stock checks
Warehouse duties, including picking customer orders

**Qualifications Required**:
Previous experience working as a HGV Driver
HGV Class 2 license
Full/clean driver’s license
Forklift License - Desirable
Driver CPC

Previous experience working as HGV Driver
Working knowledge of working time directive law
Working knowledge of transport law including taco graph
Be organised and thorough with a good eye for detail
Have good communication skills.
Be punctual and able to time manage own schedule
Be positive, flexible and punctual
Have previous experience in a driving and warehouse role
Experience of strapping loads safely
