Arboricultural Consultant

We are looking for an experienced arboriculturalist, or a surveyor wishing to advance their career to join a busy arboricultural consultancy in Uppingham, Rutland. This post is a mix of field and office-based work with assignments across the UK.

**Duties**
- To independently travel to sites and conduct arboricultural VTA assessments and surveys to BS5837:2012
- To produce drawings using CAD and other software
- To write reports to convey findings and provide recommendations in regard to planning matters, health & safety assessment and tree management.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties relating to the efficient operation of the business

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum of Level 4 Certificate in Arboriculture
- A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience
- Robust tree and shrub identification skills
- Robust pest and disease identification skills, including significance and implications
- Experience in the production of plans using CAD
- Good map and plan reading skills
- Full, clean driving licence
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Great written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally, concisely and effectively

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
