IT Technician

_Adecco are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Tarporley for an **IT Technician**to support a consortium of schools, primary and secondary. _

This is a really rewarding role, supporting learners and teachers in the Education sector.

This is initially a temporary position for 12 weeks with the opportunity for a permanent role should both parties agree.

**Salary** - £24,500 p/a

**Hours**_ - Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00 (hours may vary)_

**Location**_ - A network of schools in Cheshire area, successful applicant must have a driving license and own vehicle. _

**Key Duties**:

- Providing classroom support for IT equipment
- Informing teaching staff of any known issues
- Ensuring printers are loaded
- Install new software, uninstall outdated software
- Support with any hardware issues
- Support with any network issues
- Minor equipment repairs
- Generate, extend and maintain computer networks
- Maintain computer rooms and ensure no unauthorised access
- Ad-hoc IT support duties

**Key Skills**:

- Previous experience in an IT related role
- Patient, conscientious professional who can tailor approach
- Computing qualifications are not necessary but advantageous
- Must have full UK car license and own vehicle
- Subject to DBS check, which will be provided if not already obtained
