**£12-£15 per hour depending on experience**

**Permanent position**

**7am-5pm - Monday to Friday**

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plant Fitter to join our long standing client in Musselburgh.

Our client is looking for a driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join an already successful team. The role will also include some administration tasks to be under-taken.

Working as a Plant Fitter, you must be fully qualified and hold a welding certificate.

**Main duties of the role**:

- Liaising and reporting to site supervisor and or site manager
- General maintenance across the site
- Changing bearings, motors and gearboxes
- Completing your daily job sheet
- Carrying out repairs, servicing and other maintenance on vehicles, machinery and affected components, including engines, brakes, steering etc.

- Previous experience in a similar sector
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Punctuality
- Reliability
- Being flexible around your work time
- A full UK driving Licence
- Class 1 or class 2 HGV licence is desirable
- Good level of English
- Attention to detail
- Mobile plant tickets (FLT, loading shovel, MEWP Etc.)
- Welding experience, hard facing and general maintenance
