**The role**:
We have an exiting opportunity to join a short project exploring how we can better support and train people called “community researchers” who work alongside university researchers helping them involve communities in research. The project aims are to define community researchers support and training needs and co-produce resources in response to this through a series of workshops.

**What will you be doing?**:
You will be doing interviews with people who have experience of doing research in the community - this may be with community researchers who have worked as part of a university research team or doing charity or not-for-profit organisation research projects. You will work with the project team to conduct interviews, analyse interview data, and to help organise and deliver a series of co-production workshops to develop materials to train and support community researchers.

you have:

- Experience of conducting qualitative research
- Proven skills and experience in collection, handling, analyses and writing up of qualitative data
- Evidence of a strong interest in community involvement in research
- Experience of working with diverse stakeholders collaboratively
- Computer literate, with experience of data preparation
