We are seeking a proactive and outgoing individual with a successful track record in fundraising for a unique and new opportunity as a Fundraising Coordinator, based at Custom House in Greenock. You will report to the CEO and assist with coordinating fundraising activities aimed at securing financial contributions from individuals and organisations to support campaign activities and initiatives. The primary goal is to enhance stakeholder engagement and foster meaningful relationships within the community.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop comprehensive fundraising strategies
- Organise a series of fundraising activities and events
- Research and identify potential donors, including individuals, corporations, interest groups and committees
- Maintain accurate records of donor information, contributions and maintain relationships to help encourage long-term, repeat giving
- Support the CEO with larger bids, as required
- Ensure website and social media channels are kept up to date with fundraising news and activities that inspire engagement and giving
- Gather powerful case studies, stories, images and evidence for fundraising and marketing purposes
- Produce press releases, as required, to attract media attention and distribute to all relevant media contacts and respond to press requests, as required
- Manage all Fundraising administration and own administration in connection with the post, including word processing, data handling and correspondence
- Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and reporting requirements set forth by campaign finance laws and regulatory agencies. Advise the CEO on updates from the Fundraising Regulator and any other key organisations
- Prepare timely and accurate reports on fundraising activities and campaign finances.
- Carry out such other duties as may be required by the CEO that are consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the post

**Person Specification**
- Experience and knowledge_
- A proven and successful track record in raising income and support from individuals and corporates
- Understanding of campaign finance laws and regulations preferable
- Knowledge and experience of using a variety of fundraising and marketing strategies
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills and an eye for detail
- Experience of writing and producing marketing materials
- Skills and ability_
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, succinctly and in an engaging manner in writing and in person to a range of audiences
- Ability to build relationships and to network at senior levels with key local influencers, businesses and organisations
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a full workload, meet targets and work to deadlines
- Ethical and trustworthy with a commitment to maintaining donor confidentiality
- A positive team player who is resilient, flexible and willing to try new approaches
- Ability to generate and implement new ideas and see them through to completion
- Ability to work flexibly, adapting to rapidly changing demands and opportunities while retaining a clear strategic focus
- Ability to travel independently within Scotland

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
