Duties are performed to ensure:

Skills/Qualifications
- Degree in Microbiology or related scientific discipline
- Demonstrated experience acting as a “Senior” Microbiological role within a QC Pharmaceutical Microbiology Laboratory
- Excellent technical knowledge of Microbiological testing techniques e.g., water testing, microbial limit testing and identification techniques
- Knowledge of Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Quality Systems and a basic understanding of manufacture and packaging of pharmaceutical products
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication links within the company, affiliated organisations and other customers
- Good technical and scientific judgement
- Ability to interpret complex data and present key findings
- Able to manage the day-to-day activities within the microbiology lab with mínimal supervision, employing effective time management and delivery of tasks on time in full.
- Problem solving and decision-making capabilities
- Good influencing skills
- Good presentation skills
