**Job description**:
**_My client has a role for a shipping coordinator to join them on a permanent basis._**

You will be responsible for working within a team to look after exports from USA to Asia and Middle East.

**Duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Liaising with clients, suppliers, processors, hauliers, shipping lines and freight forwarders, warehouses, clearing agents etc.
- Entering data on the system and producing relevant shipping documents (invoices, shipping instructions, shipping advices)
- Updating companies in-house databases and spreadsheets
- Verification of shipping documentation
- Handling and checking all original documents for customs clearance
- Tracking of the cargo and keeping all parties informed

**What you need to succeed**:

- An understanding of Incoterms
- Highly organised
- Good attention to detail
- Team player
- Excellent communication
- Computer literate
- Ability to perform during peaks and troughs
